Data collection
Snapvies processes screen captures, screen recordings, annotations, audio, and exports locally on your Mac. Snapvies does not require an account, and Achromic LLC does not collect, transmit, sell, rent, or share personal data through the app. Snapvies contains no advertising, analytics, tracking, telemetry, or third-party software-development kits.
Permissions and media
Snapvies requests Screen & System Audio Recording permission only to perform a capture or recording you initiate. It requests microphone permission only when you enable microphone recording. Photos add permission is requested only when you choose to add an image or completed recording to Apple Photos.
Images and videos are otherwise written only to locations you select. Snapvies does not upload captured media.
Local storage and retention
Preferences such as shortcuts, the last export location, recording options, and post-capture behavior are stored locally using macOS preferences. Pending video is kept in Snapvies’ private app container until you choose to save, add to Photos, edit, or delete it.
Your controls
You can revoke Screen & System Audio Recording, Microphone, or Photos permission at any time in System Settings → Privacy & Security. You can delete exported media in Finder or Photos.
Changes to this policy
If Snapvies’ data practices change, Achromic LLC will update this policy, the app’s privacy manifest, and its distribution disclosures as required.
